    A little off the beaten track , a new link road from the motorway at the Parador turn is now open, and takes you through Alhaurin de la Torre, or you can drive from the coast from through Alhaurin el Grande and the loveliest mountain scenery, giving you the opportunity to see something of the beautiful countryside. Lauro is a parkland course 300 metres above sea level, the original 18 holes are set in a plateau and surrounded by mountains a truly beautiful setting. The new nine is now open and takes advantage of the mountain terraine, the course adjoins the protected forest area of the Sierra de Mijas, making it very challenging. The Club house at Lauro is located within a lovely old Andalucian patio, a perfect place for an after game drink or lunch.
